Terms & Conditions
MEMBERSHIP/ CLASS ACCEPTANCE
- Food and drink are not allowed in the gym at any time.
- Parents and gymnasts must not wear shoes in the gym at any time, please leave them in the changing rooms.
- Mobile telephone use is prohibited in the gym during class times.
- Gymnasts who have long hair must tie their hair back prior to the start of the class..
- Gymnasts must be suitable dressed at all times (PE kits or Amazing Kids T-shirt).
- No jewellery, watches, piercings to be worn in the gym – wearing these items invalidates your insurance.
- Please do not leave any valuables in the changing room. Amazing Kids is not responsible or liable for any items lost or stolen.
- Any items left on the premises will be put in the lost property bins situated in the changing rooms; these will be cleared out once a term.
- Please be aware that if your child is unable to visit the toilet by themselves you will be required to remain on the premises.
- All Recreational class children and Pre school independent child class children must be dropped off and collected from Reception and not from the car park.
- All persons using our car park do so at their own risk and Amazing Kids is not in any way responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by them or for loss or damage to vehicles and their contents left within the car park.
- Parents and guardians are not allowed in the gym for the safety of the gymnasts; however they are invited to watch yearly, dates are published on the clubs notice board and website.
- It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to your child’s health and to keep us updated with changes of address and contact numbers.
REBOOKING
- Rebooking for the next term occurs before the end of a term. Online rebooking is available as well as booking at Reception. If you do not receive an email for rebooking it is your responsibility to let us know. Payment must be received within the two week booking period to secure your child’s place for the following term.
- In accepting a place for your child you are committed to a full term. Amazing Kids does not offer refunds, make up or additional classes which have been missed. All term dates are clearly stated on rebooking.
- If you choose to leave us before the end of term we will not refund fees.
- Amazing Kids aims to keep the cost of classes as low as possible, bad debtors’ cost the club money. However, if you have an issue in paying please contact the Club Manager who will endeavour to help you.
PRIVACY
- Video or photographic use is not permitted in the gym area unless authorised by the club. Any gymnasts providing footage on the web, without the clubs written permission will be asked to leave.
- Amazing Kids has the right to exclude anyone not adhering to our policies.
- Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998 we are required to inform you that membership information is held on our computer systems for management information purposes only.
BEHAVIOUR
- Amazing Kids has a zero tolerance approach to unacceptable verbal and physical behaviour directed towards staff and coaches.
- Any unacceptable behaviour will be taken very seriously and may result in the immediate expulsion from the club and permanent exclusion.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS FOR ADULTS ONLY
- You must be a minimum of 18 years old to attend adults’ classes.
- You must use the equipment appropriately and should not attempt any moves beyond your ability.
- It is your responsibility to put away any equipment that you have used in its designated storage place before you leave the gym.
- By attending a class you confirm you are fit and healthy to participate in exercise.
- No alcohol is to be brought into the gym or consumed prior to your gym class.
- All footwear is to be left in the changing rooms.
- No admittance is allowed into the gym until your allocated time.
- ‘Parkour / Free Running’ is not permitted, ONLY in structure and organised sessions.
- Maximum class size is 24. Gymnasts may be turned away if classes exceed the maximum number.
Amazing Kids has the right to exclude anyone not adhering to our policies.
Amazing Kids reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its discretion and without notice. These Terms and Conditions supersede all former ones. Use of Amazing Kids will constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Gymnasts Code of Conduct
Respect all club staff, coaches and fellow gymnasts. Be polite and courteous at all times. As a representative of Amazing Kids you must display professional and respectful conduct at all times. Rudeness, insulting, threatening or racist behaviour, shouting, swearing, exclusion, physical or mental abuse will not be tolerated.
Parent Code of Conduct
Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their chosen sport. Never punish or belittle your child for poor performance or making mistakes. Use correct and appropriate language at all times. Publicly accept official judgements, we discourage challenging or arguing with club coaches and officials. Endeavour to establish good communications with the club, coaches and officials for the benefit of all. Your child is your responsibility prior to the start of a class. Please do not leave them before their class begins. Always collect your child promptly at the end of the session
